What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we collect only your email address and display name. That's it. We never see your Google password or any other Google account data.

How We Use Your Data

• Your display name is shown publicly on chair submissions and reviews you create.
• Your email address is used only to identify your account and to contact you about your submissions (approval, rejection, or reports).
• We will never send you marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in to a newsletter (which we don't currently have).

Data We Never Collect

• We do not track your browsing across other websites.
• We do not use analytics cookies or third-party trackers.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. Ever.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie contains no personal information — just an encrypted session token. It is deleted when you sign out. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any other type of cookie.

Your Content

When you submit a chair photo and review, that content becomes publicly visible on the site. You grant us a non-exclusive license to display it. You retain ownership of your photos.

Data Retention

We retain your account information as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and all associated content deleted, contact us at privacy@ratemycuckchair.com.

Third-Party Services

We use Google OAuth for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to the authentication process. We use Cloudflare for hosting; Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to the infrastructure layer.
